Our willingness to serve extends beyond campus limits to embrace the community in which the college is located. The range of projects grows with each passing year. Large or small these civic and community endeavors are significant, enriching each participant with the inner joy of altruism felt when a collective effort is undertaken with genuine concern for the welfare of others.

The Alzheimer’s Association, the world leader in Alzheimer research and support, is the largest voluntary health organization dedicated to finding prevention methods, treatments and an eventual cure for Alzheimer's. For nearly 25 years, the donor-supported, not-for-profit Alzheimer's Association has provided reliable information and care consultation; created supportive services for families; increased funded for dementia research; and influenced public policy changes. The Alzheimer’s Association nationwide network of more than 300 points of service offers a broad range of programs and services for people with the disease, families, care partners, residential care professionals and professional health care providers.

The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation creates a future of hope for children and families worldwide by eradicating pediatric AIDS, providing care and treatment to people with HIV/AIDS, and accelerating the discovery of new treatments for other serious and life-threatening pediatric illnesses. Since 1995 the Fraternity has raised over $100,000 in the fight against HIV.
